A question for those smarter than me...

Quick question for any of you smarties that may be familiar with creating signatures & logos. What I'm trying to figure out is how I can customize a signature with characters like a flower and butterfly. I'm starting up a flower farm & want to create a fitting logo. So, for instance, how might I go about replacing the "i" dot with a daisy character & maybe add a butterfly to the end of "farm"?

Any ideas???? Thanks everyone! :) :)

  1. Well Kuntry Girl, I'd love to offer you some help, but I've got nothing! I've tried to get creative with some simple programs, but usually end up really frustrated. Luckily, my neighbor works for a print shop and does graphic design. If you hit a dead end with this, let me know and I'll mention it to my neighbor...and see if she's up for the challenge and you guys can work out the details. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing the end product! Good luck!

  3. If you mean on the computer, I just use photoshop. You could use photoshop elements (its a bit cheaper) or look for free programs called Inkscape and GIMP. They very similar to Illustrator and Photoshop. You should be able to accomplish what you want in them. All you would have to do is erase or cover up the dot in the "i" and then place the image of the flower over it and resize it to fit. I can try to help if you like, send me an email! I may not be able to respond for a few days since we have company, but I can help as soon as I can. Let me know!
